Who is Pippity Cozy Games?
Pippity Cozy Games is an independent mobile game studio, started in 2026, that makes calm and kid-safe games for children aged 5 and up and their families.
What games does Pippity make?
Pippity makes cozy games: calm puzzle and hidden object games with no timers, no fighting and no way to lose. Our first game is Meowhide: Find Hidden Cats, with 75 levels in 5 rooms, coming soon to Google Play for Android.
Who is Pip?
Pip is the Pippity mascot, a small blue bird who still wears the top of the eggshell it hatched from.
Pip is new to the world and curious about everything, which is how we want kids to feel when they open one of our games.
What do we believe?
We believe a children’s game should be fun, calm and safe at the same time. Four rules guide every game:
- Fun first. A game has to be fun in the first 30 seconds, or we keep working on it.
- Calm, not loud. No timers that rush, no game over, nothing scary.
- Safe by design. 0 personal data, 0 tracking, no tricks. See our promise to parents.
- Original. Every game, character and world is our own.
How do we make our games?
Every Pippity game starts as a simple grey prototype that we build in about 3 days. Only when it is fun do we add art, sound and the little moments that make you smile.
Before a release, test robots play every single level from a fresh start. For Meowhide that meant all 75 of 75 levels passed with 0 failures. Then we try the game on real phones and tablets.
We also follow the rules Google Play sets for apps made for children:
“Monetization and advertising in your app must not have deceptive content or be designed in a way that will result in inadvertent clicks from child users.”
And we design for families who plan screen time together, as the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that parents:
“develop a plan that takes into account the health, education and entertainment needs of each individual child as well as the whole family”
